Senior Academy’s Technology Explorers (S.A.T.E.) is a monthly discussion group moderated by Board member Barry Sardis and co-hosted by Board member Tony Berg. They were members of the Villages Technology Explorers (VTE) club which was merged into Senior Academy in 2021.

A goal of S.A.T.E. meetings is to explore technology and help dispel the aura of mystery that can intimidate many of us. Audience participation is encouraged, sharing experiences, expertise, and offering topics for future discussion.
Starting with the Industrial Revolution, technology has been shaping our lives now for a couple of hundred years. Even those of us that think we know a lot about technology can always learn more, especially given the rapid pace of changes and new innovation.
