Senior Academy Ambassadors perform a valued and important function in support of the overall Lifelong Learning program. Ambassadors are the hostesses/hosts who greet event participants and welcome attendees in a way that will help create a relaxed and comfortable experience.
An Ambassador ensures all attendees are checked in at the front door, provided handouts and course material. Questions are answered or referred to the Senior Academy Board Member who is hosting the event. Ambassadors may take photos during the event to be shared later on the VillagesSA.org website.
Ambassadors are also the best person to obtain more information about the Senior Academy so that participants may learn how they may join as a member or volunteer to serve as an Ambassador.
